Kevin Skinner - Lead Pastor
"The Lord said to me, 'Do not say I am only a youth. You must go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you." -Jeremiah 1:7Kevin began his pastorate with First Baptist Church Stockdale in July 2021 after serving for nearly 11 years with First Baptist Watauga in Watauga, TX. Kevin has served as an associate pastor, children's pastor, youth pastor, and young adult pastor. He has a masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and a bachelors in practical ministry. He and Sarah have been married since 2004 and they have two children, Emilie and Ethan.
Corey Arseneault - Worship Minister
"Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs." Psalm 100:2Corey began serving as our worship minister in September of 2025. He was born in North Richland Hills, Texas, and grew up attending Glenview Baptist Church, where he gave his life to Christ in third grade. Called to ministry in 2017, he began leading worship for youth services, eventually serving in Sunday services as well. After high school, Corey pursued a degree in worship studies at Oklahoma Baptist University before transferring to Liberty University in 2020, where he continued his education while serving in local ministry. In March of 2024 Corey and his wife Portia were married. He is passionate about leading worship and guiding the church to glorify Christ together.
Palmer Jones - Student Pastor
"For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift--not from works, so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9Palmer began serving as the student pastor for First Baptist Church Stockdale in September of 2022. He surrendered to the call to ministry at the age of 13 and has served in previous churches in both worship and youth ministries. He has a masters degree from Western Theological Seminary and was ordained to the gospel ministry by First Baptist Church Stockdale in 2024. Palmer loves leading in the youth ministry because he feels like this is where the gifts the Lord has given him really shine. He is a people person in general, but his fun and goofy spirit really comes out with the youth. Palmer has been married to his wife Katy since 2018.
Katy Wiatrek - Children's Minister
"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me." -Matthew 19:14Katy grew up at First Baptist Church Stockdale and began serving as our children's minister in August of 2025. Katy previously served in volunteer roles in our children's ministry leading children's church and Vacation Bible School. Katy also brings experience as a teacher and an administrator. She has a passion for raising up children to know the Lord and to fall deeply in love with Him. Katy is married to Rodney and they have two children, Weston and Christine.
JoDea Lambeck - Ministry Assistant
"And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17JoDea began serving at First Baptist Church Stockdale as the ministry assistant in 1995. Since that time she has faithfully served under 5 different pastors. JoDea loves Stockdale and the color purple. She has a passion for both her children and grandchildren. She is a true blessing to our church family.
